Janeway Institute branding
Complete new visual branding for the Janeway Institute - a new organisation which was an offshoot of the Dept of Economics at the University of Cambridge. The brief was to create a new logo, branding and set of visual identity guidelines. In look and feel, the new identity needed to fuse cutting-edge academic thinking and global economics. Smith devised a logo which echoed the new strapline 'New directions in economics' which Smith had also devised. The logo suggests a bar chart, that is bent in a new direction, resulting in a 'J' for Janeway.
