Smith was commissioned to design a new alumni magazine for AIGLON - a private English-speaking college situated in the Swiss Alps. Prior to Smith's involvement, the college magazine looked like most others of its kind – low production values with content of little interest to someone who had graduated twenty years ago.

The brief was to create a magazine which replaced all existing print communications and which would work as a standalone tool for the Development and Alumni Relations Dept to aid outreach to alumni whilst also engaging current parents and propespective donors. most importantly the redesign needed to reflect the strong values and personality of the college and tap into the unique alpine experience all alumni shared.

The magazine is produced twice a year with Smith being involved in the editorial planning, art direction, art commissioning, magazine design and layout and location photography.

Aiglon Magazine won two Silver Awards at the CASE Circle of Excellence Awards.
